Clean crime drama set in a picturesque small town where a local historian teams up with the police to solve cases—some decades old, others fresh and dangerous—while protecting the peace of their beloved community.

3. Willow Creek Mysteries
Tagline: "Every quilt has a story… but some are murderously unfinished."
Cozy mystery series about a widowed quilt shop owner who, with the help of her retired police chief father and quirky townsfolk, solves small-town crimes tied to the intricate stories behind handmade quilts.

4. Dr. Grace Morgan, Frontier Healer
Tagline: "She came to heal the town — and found a place that could heal her heart."
Historical romance set in the late 1800s, following a determined female doctor navigating frontier life, gaining the trust of skeptical townsfolk, and finding unexpected love along the way.

How It Works

• Trial Book: Book One of your chosen series will be provided as an unpaid beta reading internship/trial.

• Feedback Role: You’ll read the manuscript before publication and provide detailed feedback on pacing, character development, consistency, and reader engagement.

• Ongoing Partnership: If we both feel the collaboration went well, you’ll be offered a Series Beta Reader Contract.

Series Beta Reader Contract Includes:

• 3% of royalties from net sales for each book (excluding book 1) in the series, up to $3,000 per book or 5 years (whichever comes first).

• Your name credited as “Series Beta Reader” in the acknowledgments.

• Early access to each manuscript before release (after you, it will go to editors).

Requirements:

• Love clean, heartfelt fiction in a Hallmark-style tone.

• Able to meet agreed-upon feedback deadlines.

• Comfortable providing constructive, honest, but respectful notes.

• Willing to maintain strict confidentiality of unpublished material.
