Falling Into Cozy: Why August Already Feels Like Autumn

The mornings are shifting—not cooler because, you know, AZ, just a little softer. It’s that secret whisper that fall is on its way, even though the calendar still insists on summer. The point - almost - to where I try to pretend fall is here and try to pretend I have actual seasons.

Today, I’m choosing slow living: a quilt across my lap, a steaming cup of coffee, and the thought of how quickly the “-ber” months are creeping closer. 🍎🍂 - along with knowing this is my last week of working from home and I will be back in the office daily in a few days.

✨ Writing update:
I’ve been wrapping myself in words these past few days, and it feels like stitching together a quilt one square at a time. My children’s stories and YA projects are open for alpha and beta readers—if you’d like to be part of shaping these books before they release, I’d love to have you join me on the journey.

Tell me—what’s one small way you’re making the shift toward fall, even though we’re still in August?
