The Slow but Steady Climb of an Author’s Journey

 

Every day brings a new page, not only in my books but in this journey of being an author. Yesterday was about numbers and realities—the kind that make you pause and wonder if the effort is worth it. Today is about choosing to keep going, no matter how small the progress feels.

Publishing is not an overnight success story. It’s a long road of building connections, nurturing readers, and slowly stacking pages into chapters, chapters into books, and books into a career. Some days the numbers feel discouraging, but then I remind myself—this is just the beginning.

One book, one reader, one page at a time. That’s how we climb.

So today, instead of looking at the gap between where I am and where I want to be, I’m focusing on the step I took forward. Because that step is still movement—and movement always leads somewhere.
